Brown Brothers Catering

Brown Brothers Catering located in Central Utah, serving Wasatch Front, and Utah Valley originated in 2004 by a 23-year-old entrepreneur named Sam Schultz. The Brown name comes from his family heritage of Martha Brown. Sam has worked his whole life in the Catering Service business with his family. His mother comes from a well-known family in Southern California , The Startup family. They at one time were a part of the candy factory in Provo , Utah known as “Startup's Candy Factory”. When the Startup's got the chance, moved to Southern California and started a wedding service business which Sam's mother was apart of. Branching out into 12 different Catering businesses' today in the Southern California area, his father owning one of them, Sam has caught the same vision that his Grandfather once had many years ago in little old Provo, Utah.

Unlike most startups Brown Brothers Catering has grown immensely since its start in November of 2004. Having a rough start and getting no support from his Catering family in California he was only able to produce 2 parties from January to April. In just 3 short months the business has increased it's sales by 5 times. This is due both to the succesfull launch and marketing of their website, www.brownbrotherscatering.com and from word of mouth marketing from almost all of their satisfied clients.

Brown Brothers has had the opportunity of Catering over 50 parties in 4 months, and increased $60,000 in sales. Not only has the monitary successes been great, but they have also had the priveledge of producing extra large catering events such as the renown “Stadium of Fire” catering for the VIP Star's such as; Mandy Moore, Lonestar, Debbie Reynolds, Fred Willard & much Also in this short time of production they have served well-known people such as The Madsen family- family of Mark Madsen (Utah grown basketball player for The Lakers & The Timberwolves).

“All my relatives that Cater in California have told me that I can't make it in Utah, but being cursed with a risky entrepenuer mind, I put that aside and took the plunge”. Sam can obviously say that he has proved his family otherwise, and recently has been confronted by those relatives with amazement. Sam plans on taking Brown Brothers Catering to a whole different level, that caterers in Utah have not yet reached. It has been a great experience for Sam and his staff to serve their local community and the outstanding people and businesses that make Utah so special. They specialize in Weddings, Corporate Events, Anniversaries and more, and they now know the true meaning of service.
